It's been a while since I made an update on here, so I figured it would be a good time to give some updates on where Boilerbase is at now, and what I've been working on lately.
Over the past ~2 weeks, Boilerbase has gone from just a landing page to a fully featured marketplace application.
New features:
- Account signup with magic email link (passwordless)
- Google authentication option
- Signed in users can post listings for approval to be listed on the site
- Browsing of all approved listings
- Searching across all listings
- Editing and saving user settings
- Dark mode toggle in navigation bar
- Updated landing page
- View details about each listing
- Redid frontend to improve look and feel everywhere
Coming soon:
- Filter based on tech stack, etc.
- Messaging sellers
- Transactions and payments?
I'm still not 100% sure what the end game of this app is going to be, but I know there is some value to be had in helping ambitious founders or college students ship their app ideas much faster. It might be the case that a marketplace isn't what solves this problem, and I throw away all of this work from the past 2 weeks, but for now I think at least part of this will be useful.

Also, Boilerbase got accepted into the Global Venture Labs Accelerator Summer 2024 Cohort! So I'll be meeting some cool founders and hopefully getting more clarity about what I want this thing to be.
